A little lost...and lonely

Posted in Group:

I am 28weeks and I am sooo stressed out. My partner works all the time and we just bought a new house in september between the 2 I am alone most of the time. I mean I have my 4yr old daughter but no other family and friends around sense the move so I am ending up with nobody to talk to. On top of all this the stress of having so much to do to our house before the baby come is weighing on him and now he is starting to be such a crab when things arent going just as planed. He has become quite the Mr. Attitude and yes literally over spilled water most recently. He doesnt seem to get the why get upset over nothing approach that it changes nothing and when thats all hes doing the short amount of time we are actually together it just plain sucks! He does the whole silent attitude thing and drives me nuts, like I dont have enough stress you have to make a big deal out of all the little stuff and I dont even get a hey hunny how was your day thanks for cleaning the whole house and making dinner even though you worked today too, but theres that one thing slipped threw the cracks and thats what hes gonna focus on. I am just tired literally tired I cant sleep and this is how my day goes. Grrrr I just wish I had it in me to do the same to him...if he keeps it up though I just might and well see how he like the silent treatment over something like leaving his dirty cloths and underwear on the bathroom floor every night see how he likes it :P

I;m sorry for what your going through. I only wish men could understand how emotional/tired/overwhelmed we get when pregnant--and they should be doing everything in their power to help us & be appreciative of us.
Your husband shouldn;t give u the silent treatment & get upset over little things---it is immature of him in my opinion. Do u think when calm-he'd be willing to talk about needing better communication in your relationship-how his actions hurt ur feelings etc. I am really sorry for what u are going through-i know it must be so hard right now.
Congrats though on your pregnancy.
I am also pregant-21 weeks and so stressed out because of my sister, My sister recently got out of a bad marriage-her husband almost killed her literally-once physically getting better she tried to kill herself-so she is hurting & in treatment. i worry about her so much because everything she use to say was lies so i have no idea what is really bothering her, hope she is receptive of help, and hope she gets better. i am watching her 3 children--but it is so frustrating when my sister doesnt seem to appreciate all i do for her-especially watching her 3 children. I can;t sleep because im always worrying she is going to leave treatment or something else bad is going to happen. With her it has been constant drama. My husband is supportive-but he works all the time, and just tells me to relax/not think about things-which i can not do. i really wished my husband was more supportive emotionally-bc he doesn;t understand how emotionally draining this all is. I hope things get better for you.
