ultrasound panic

Posted in Group:

does anyone know what ultrasound for viable pregnancy shows at 6 plus weeks. Had one done not long ago that showed only gestational sac measuring over 6 weeks but couldn't find yolk sac or fetal poll.
Has anyone had this happen or know someone who did and what happened? Is it possible for things to still be good?

You need to see your gyno and tell what the doctor said and see what you need to do, if there is not a fetus with a heart beat you will have to get that sac removed I would think for your safety of your health. If your docs can't give you answers and the care for you in the right way you need to get a 2nd opinion real quick. Ultrasounds should shows everything that is going on so I don't understand what you were told.
